WebSphere Everyplace Access 4.30 Location Aware Services

For the WEA 430 version of LAS, you only need to configure the "webraska.na" services. No others are used for the demonstration application (LAS portlets).

Configuring LAS Services

In addition to the configuring the connectivity to the appropriate external sites for geographic information, you can also configure LAS to provide addional logging to reflect LAS' operation. From the Portal server, in the Location Aware Services tab, you can change the "Message log level", "Message log type", "Trace log level", "Message log type", "Trace log level", "Trace log type", as well as can specify the "Trace log file name". Once the values for these settings are changed, and you "Save" (and perhaps "Refresh" in the LAS "Manage Services" tab on the WEA/Portal web page) these settings, you can (for an install using default locations) go to the "~/WebSphere/PortalServer/log" directory and view the "atlas_*" files for operational information.
